Dr. Rick Chromey has equipped leaders, teachers, pastors and parents for over four decades, as a youth minister, professor, author, trainer/consultant, theologian and historian. He has served in churches, Christian colleges and an international missions training organization.

Rick studied pastoral ministries at Nebraska Christian College (1986), Christian Education at Cincinnati Bible Seminary (1992) and earned his doctorate in leadership and emerging culture at George Fox Evangelical Seminary (2007).

He’s invested his life in equipping and discipleship, speaking at U.S. churches, Christian colleges,  conventions, conferences, camps, and retreats since 1982. In 2006, God led him into international training, speaking to leaders, teachers and volunteers in Mexico, Africa and Europe. Currently, he’s traveled to 17 different countries with either tour or missionary groups.

In 2017, Rick launched MANNA! Educational Services International as a 501c3 nonprofit, inspirational training company to serve churches, Christian schools and faith-based organizations with affordable, creative and transformative training. Besides live/cyber workshops, MANNA! also publishes a daily (M-F) email that grew from 250 to 850 subscribers since 2020.

Since 2022, Rick has been a top-rated speaker on the Columbia and Snake Rivers of the Pacific Northwest for American Cruise Lines. Each year he lectures on Lewis and Clark history and delivers port previews to over 2000 guests.

MANNA! TOURS is a natural extension of Rick’s passion for the travel and hospitality industry. In 2022, he started working for American Cruise Lines as a Lewis & Clark historian on the Columbia and Snake River. This work has equipped him with best practices for leading bus groups on tours. In addition, his extensive travel, including Israel, Greece and Europe has prepared him to lead others to international locations.
